GANANOQUE ONTARIO
C.S.E.T. was similar to the Y.M.C.A. and Boy Scouts, and flourished between WW1 and WW2. This photograph was
taken by the Prosser Studio in Gananoque, Ontario, and is dated 1929 in pencil on the back. That, and the C.S.E.T. flag
held by one of the boys are the only clues to the time and location of the photo.
Back Row: Far left is Jack Gilbert, who at one time became mayor of Gananoque. Third from
right is his brother William Gilbert, who was a professor at Queens University.
