Marvin Paranych says: ". . . . (the top image shows) a simple wedding ceremony between George Croshaw and Dora Jane Cuddie in Ottawa (most likely at the Cuddie residence). These two people are my maternal great-grand­parents. Interesting enough, John Garret, the best man, also married Florence Cuddie about a week later. They (both couples) eventually moved out west to Winnipeg and on to Saskatchewan many years later."

Marriage certificate of George Croshaw (the written name looks like Crowshaw) and Dora J. Cuddie, is dated at Ottawa, Carleton County, on 25th of June, 1889. Since the marriage seems not to have been registered, this is the only documentation for this marriage that exists.
