In her emails of October 2005 she said: "The photo was handed down to me with a lot of other old family photos. At least so far, most have been family or close friends of someone in the family. My family settled in Beckwith Township and a lot of us are still here or in the town of Carleton Place. Names connected to my family are Duff, Rattray, McEwen, Ferguson, Coleman, Lyon, McGregor and McNeely. (That's just a few). I would think the photo is in the area of Beckwith, Ramsay or Drummond but that's just a guess, but Lanark County".
